Yes. Whatever behaviour you show in the beginning, sets the tone of the relationship. Full stop. Any changes from usual behaviour become suspect. To avoid conflict, simply explain why so she doesn't think you've lost interest, out cheating or whatever. This one is a biggie for me too lol.

What about how it affects her since you're not in the relationship by yourself? Communication is very important because like someone else said, if you don't do it, someone else will step in & do it for you. It's easy to feel neglected when there is no communication in a relationship. And TBH, she may start thinking about ending the relationship or cheat on you.
