![]() it is unfortunate that half truths are recieving FP honours.... its just SHOCKING...... The half truth propagated was pdp lost the appeal what they left out was APC ALSO LOST AN APPEAL. pdp appealed that time given them by the tribunal to count the ballot papers be extended due to the massive nature of fraud and undeniable rigging done... although this was thrown out by the appeal court due to the fact they said the tribunal has the right to decide how much time for the counting of ballot.... on the other hand... apc approach the appeal court to declare the counting approved by the tribunal and done by the pdp.... void due to the fact they were not informed properly This the appeal court also threw away as the evidence before her shows that the apc had been served notice of pdp intention to recount even before the approval given by the tribunal.... now my people who is the true winner... i sure knw you said PDP |

..."which included a request by the petitioners that the time spent recounting the ballots should be restored so that they could call more witnesses" This was never the submission of PDP, rather, they submitted that the tribunal should have allowed them complete the recounting since it had earlier ruled that they recount the ballot papers. You were also biased not to have mentioned that, the same Court of Appeal sitting in Benin City has dismissed the cross appeal lodged by the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Godwin Obaseki seeking to invalidate the ballot count ordered by the Edo State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Benin City. In all these, this is why some of our politicians will always insist that the problem is followership and not leadership. Why would any sane and sincere Nigerian think that the best way to get into power is by forcing a candidate or yourself on us through rigging by all means, get into power, manipulate the judiciary with public funds to remain in power. A similar strategy that some Nigerians and APC condemned about PDP, and promised to change if voted in. Now they instead are doing even worse. All they say to defend their evil act is, "after all, PDP did the same thing". Now l know they were just wailing because they were not in power, they never had good intentions. An election that the electoral umpire INEC(the first respondent) failed to defend the result they declared by refusing to call up a SINGLE WITNESS. Even the chief returning officer, the Vice Chancellor of the Federal University, Oye Ekiti Professor Kayode Soremekun, who announced the result could not appear to affirm the result he declared free, credible and fair at the tribunal. The international election observers also made an indicting statement over the conduct of the election. Here we are celebrating a failing system and hoping that Nigeria will get better. Let Nigeria kwuntinuu to fail for my Biafra to rise jare, owolo komi. |
