NCDC, Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, on Friday affirmed that the eruption of Cerebro Spinal Meningitis killed two people in Lagos as the death increase to 438.

According to the statistics disclosed by Nigeria Centre for Disease Control(NCDC), an amounted number of 3,959 cases with 438 death have so far been reported, with 181 laboratory-confirmed cases since eruption.

According to the statistics, on April 5, 2017, 3 cases of the deadly disease was recorded in Lagos, and it killed two out of the three. The survived person is currently hospitalized.

According to the statistics showed here, Meningitis have so far erupted in 19 states:

'Meningitis outbreaks are currently reported in 19 States with five States mostly affected (Zamfara, Katsina, Kebbi and Sokoto in the North-West zone and Niger in the North-Central zone of Nigeria),'
