In the build up to 2015 election, Muazu Babangida made him commissioner for local governments where local governments funds from the monthly federation account allocation for the state were siphoned in the name of joint account.
Talba later made him deputy governor candidate to his anointed PDP governortorial candidate, Umar NASCO in 2015 election. These dual, with consent and supported by the governor, personalized and used local government workers contributory pension fund as their campaign money in addition to fund in local joint account.
The whistle blower could likely be his boss, Talba who is presently in EFCC custody for stealing of the state ecological fund and other embezzlement allegations. It could be he decided to spill the beans now in order not to carry the cross alone.
