https://www.change.org/p/rivers-state-government-speedy-justice-for-slain-adewale-adeyemo/c?source_location=petition_show. He was so full of life when he went to work like the rest of us on 11th April, 2017. Energetic, jovial, vibrant, well schooled, professional in conduct and a product of the Unique University of Port Harcourt. Only recently transfered by his company to monitor and supervise some educational projects of the Rivers State Government in Ogoni land, when some indigenous contractors, jealous of his accomplishments, conspired with community youths to beat him up. They snuffed life out of this promising young man who was only doing his job, to ensure their own children have befitting schools to learn and develop. He was beaten up, when he resumed at the worksite this fateful Tuesday Morning in April. He died. How barbaric!, How wicked!, How inhuman of the people in this Ogoni community to do such a thing? We must seek justice for him. We must ask questions, we must speak out! It could be you tomorrow. It could be your son, your brother, your cousin, your nephew, your father, your church member, your colleague, your friend, oh for Christ sake, it could be anyone, but today let us all unite to see that the killers of Adewale Adeyemo are brought to justice.... #Justice4AdewaleAdeyemo 1 Share

A life cut short at a blossoming age for no reason. If he was a gangster or a chronic killer, it would have be said of him; WELL DESERVED but here we are in a country called Nigeria, where one who struggles to seek his daily bread and no one is sure of what can befall him or her at any given time or place. It is paradoxical for anyone to be proud of such country . I am very sure ,that the day he got his job, he would have been thankful to God. And between the past and now, the story must have changed if one asked the parents or love ones because, in their heart, it will, “why did the job come to?". It is indeed a sad one that even some Ogoni youth could do such. The middle age man is gone at a time his loved ones weren't expecting such. So, sad reading such a story of someone who was trying to sustain his livelihood. RIP |

obonujoker: You are perfectly right. The kind of his job was like working in sambisa forest without any gun for protection. |

juman:In an Ogoni land, that nearly all southerners supported them during Ken saro wiwa's case and when the shut down happened in the 1990s.It was a wicked act. If the issue were to be robbery case, it would have made it a normal case. But, youth within the environment beat him to death? It is really pathetic. Nigeria is an aberration. |

Olu317: Its sad. He was treated like an hunted animal. nigeria is a non functional country. What is important in nigeria is whenever you are not in your community, behave with caution. There is millions of angry unemployed youths across the country. |

juman:Quite true. This is very discouraging about the Nigeria situation. God forbid , what will happen if friends of the deceased decide to take law into their own hands for a reprisal attack, within the neighbourhood for the death of the middle age man? I wish people, do have knowledge on the bitter fact, that no single person or group of persons to even think it as a tribe to kill others have monopoly over violence. I hope people do give a second thought before starting, what they won't be able to finish. However, it is an eye opener to anyone, working in non region of the tribe or ethnicity, he or she belongs, truly need to be cautious in such environment. And this just show the depth at which the Nigerian youths of different tribe or ethnicity are far apart in this recent time. It is a serious challenge. |

Olu317: Hmmm. nigeria is a country that is in a state of semi anarchy. |
Re: Justice For Adewale Adeyemo #slain Uniport Mechanical Graduate by Olu317(m): 12:15pm On Apr 15, 2017 |
juman:You mentioned only anarchy? Presently, the system being practise include both Anarchy and Autocratic. I mentioned, Autocratic because, little do people realise that President Buhari doesn't obey court injunction neither his lieutenants. They are all power drunk because the constitution doesn't give room for true federalism. He always bulldoze his way as if it is a military regime from the inception of his tenure. It is disheartening seeing a nation with such great future during the first republic. But today, all the great aspiration has crumbled. Unless something drastic is done, Nigeria is doom bound. |

Since the 12th this hasn't made the fronpage and still on the first page. Why is this story abandoned? There are people that literally sleep on nairaland but haven't found this news worthy to condemn, nice! Are Nigerians coming to term with Yoruba's lives worthlessness? If this was a non-Yoruba, the story would have run 15 pages already, and this is supposed to be a Yoruba own website. No wonder people call Yoruba the most stuppidd tribe. What do you call a man who stand up for others but can't stand up for himself? Coward that is. Unlike Eunice Olawale in Abuja, Adewale Adeyemo didn't receive any warning that his tribe is not welcome to work in Rivers. What is it going to take for Yoruba in other regions to come back home and start making lives of other Nigerians on our soil unbearable? Why are SW governors not targeting these people and their businesses. There are ways we can make unwanted guests very uncomfortable.without saying a word about it. Who put a curse on Yoruba? And to a poster who made a comment about how his friends and reprisal attack, what's stopping them? Nigeria is a jungle and payback is the language the animals understand. If you had attacked some of his tribe people in Lagos, they will think twice before doing it again, but as it is, they get the body language. 1 Like |

juman:I, chose to answer you because those lies you peddled on here. Jesus wasn't a core Hamitic man because he is an Israelite who is a descendant of Abraham from earthly perspective. Who are Israelites? Israelites are the children of Jacob whose name was changed to Israel who was the grandson of Abraham WHO WAS Abraham? Abraham was the son of Terah, who was a descendant of Nabor , a SHEMITE WHERE DID TERAH LIVED? Terah, lived under Nimrod, who was the son of CUSH, descendant of Ham. WHERE IS SHEM LOCATED ? SHEM was within Middle East covering Ur, in Iraq, Mesopotamia and Eastern part of Turkey. According to Gen10:22—31 WERE THEY HAMITIC? Abraham and his descendants were not a Black of Ham's descendants. WHO ARE HAMITIC DESCENDANTS? Black descendants of Ham or his sons Cush (Ethiopia), Mizraim (Egypt), Phut (Libya), and Canaan (first occupants of the land of Israel) HOW ARE THEY NOT HAM'S DESCENDANTS It was because Terah wasn't a Ham's descendant but whose father who was Nabor, an Assyrian descendant of SHEM. This was confessed by Jacob in the book of DEUT 26:5 “And thou shalt speak and say before the LORD thy God, A Syrian ready to perish was my father, and he went down into Egypt, and sojourned there with a few, and became there a nation, great, mighty, and populous." The point here is a fact. There is no iota of doubt that ISRAELITES migrated back to Interior Africa and intermarried with Hamitic descendant. But, they are not Ham descendants. It is far from the truth that all Africans are Israelites. A big lie. How is Jesus a Black coloured Hamitic descendant? Here is a picture of an Israelite image EVEN DNA has proven this to be true about the human history. DNA don't lie. Out of the whole of sub sahara Africans, only two groups are not with the same ancestors with other Sub Saharan Africans who had Neanderthal ancestors connection. And they are Khoisan in South Africa and YORUBA. Imagine, the whole of Sub Saharan with over 500 Million population. Forget all these mumbo jumbo ideology and propaganda about falsified blasphemy. Here in do attach a Terracotta head of Semite, marked "Hebrew" by Petrie. From Memphis, Foreign Quarter, Egypt. The Petrie Museum of Egyptian Archaeology, London Does the terracotta look like proper black man? How many tribes or ethnicity in AFRICA practice religion close to JUDAISM IN AFRICA? Ham had its way all along but couldn't use properly to serve God. You don't even love JESUS because of your kind of messages you churn out here. Anyway, enjoy the bitter truth.

juman:Inferiority complex on who? I mock your ignorance. It is so disheartening reading your pseudo interpretation of the Bible because people like you will make other faith look at my God with disrespect. Though, I can not fight for God but I am here to relay the truth as it stand. When someone like you drew the first blood at me,which ,I must respond, so that clarification can be established. And I am not perturbed because Emi omo Arogundade ,Omo, arogun masa Omo roté màbéru. You have no clue on the personality you are dealing with because you will get your finger burnt on this matter. |

Maybe he didn't respect his host. All Adewales living outside their region should learn to respect their host for their own good. NOTE: Please don't quote me, this is the same excuse Yorubas give when such predicament happens to other tribes living outside their region. I just want em to taste their own food. |
