In consonance with its policy of promoting economic growth of Nigeria, NASCO, a multinational consumer goods company has reiterated its commitment to actively contribute to enhancing local manufacturing in Nigeria.
The Chairman, NASCO, Mr. Attia Nasreddin stated this during a visit by the leadership team of the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN) to his office in Jos recently.
Nasreddin commended MAN for its development strategy for local manufacturing in ensuring the Nigerian manufacturing industry was inclusive in economic growth and socio-economic transformation which translates into substantial improvements in the quality of lives of citizens.

In his remarks, The Chairman of the MAN in the zone, commended the company for their efforts in the sustainable development effort, especially in sourcing over 98 percent of the company’s raw materials locally.
He reassured the Chairman NASCO of MAN’s continued assistance and cooperation especially in pursuing friendly policies that encourage local manufacturing.
