The NNPC is undergoing reforms and redundancy with effect to the present situation of the country in the oil sector decline. However, to that effect they released an official statement backing up their decision. It reads: "In line with the ongoing reforms in the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), the Management has announced the retirement of some staff and the deployment of others.
