whereas, just minor droplets found on the floor.

Any oil that drops on the floor is not minor. It drop even more when you are driving but you won't know. Have your mechanic trace where its leaking from and fix it.

Abeg I need your rescue..
I use a Toyota 08/09...the back Tyre of the passenger side(ie right Tyre at the back) keeps on getting flat, every now and always.. Like it's the only tyre


I went to mechanic they said one side of the was swollen, that I need to check the alignment.. Went to check up place, though they didn't use machine, the guy there on inspection of the tyre said its balanced that there's nothing wrong with the alignment..

Another mechanic said the issue is the beam I need to change that.. Roughly 100k..me am confused.. I don't want to spend money on what isn't a problem and create more problems.. Since everyone seems to be guessing..

The tyre warning light has always been on in the car,since I bought it. The car seller said it was an electrical fault (when I bought it 2 years ago)

Well u should not be so worried as long as u revert to coolant as soon as u can. Just drain the water from ur system (radiator and engine)and refill with recommended coolant and ur good to go.(Also don't forget to bleed the system ).

I'm really confused here and I would like to learn. What is the link between a tire that is loosing air and the beam of the car?
If a tire is loosing air, does that not mean it's leaking? Are you not supposed to be looking for the point of leakage?
Please enlighten me.

I thought, the position of the tire was bad, so a result of bad positioning.. Like a twist or friction would be the cause..

Each time I pumped after leakage, it would deflate all tooo soon.

One day it deflated while parked.. To it to the vulcanizer, he was shocked cos he only patched it a day earlier.. So he examined it, and showed me one side of the tire was swollen which I also saw... So he said no use working or pumping it because it's unusual for tires to be swollen like this lest, he pumps it and it blows him up(the tire and the back not owners corner tire)

When am turning.. It feels like it it pulling me back (when the turn is sharp).. After changing the tire, can't really feel it again..

The Tyre fault indicator has always been on since I bought it.. Seller said it was electric fault...

Ps:it's an accident car from Canada (its that Tyre place that was bashed..)

You changed the tire, it got better. Did it continue to lose air?
If the tire fault indicator is on and you are sure your pressure is right, then check that the tire pressure sensor (which should be part of the valve on the wheel) is still intact. It may have been damaged in the crash. A bad valve might explain why the tire keeps going flat.
