We got the call to the scene of the fire late when the vehicle was well alight but it was too late to save lives.

From all indications, the vehicle had been burning for more than 10minutes before we were called to the scene.

The danfo drivers are drunkards and miscreants.

About 80 percent of road accidents are cause by human factors (i.e human error). About 12 percent by road conditions and 5 percent by the vehicle condition. The reason why there are so many traffic accidents in Lagos is pretty simple.No traffic laws. And no enforcement. Do drivers even follow speed limits?Do many roads even have them?We all know how people get driving licenses in Nigeria without driving tests. Or is it God that will come down and help us solve that too?

Nigeria has a bad history of maintenance culture and we also do not notice or observe when things have gone wrong in a vehicle. Imagine the vehicle first tumbled - what kind of speed was it moving at? It may surprise us all that the road may not have even had a speed limit sign.

It actually happened yesterday evening,I was there.the fire was so much that nobody could go close to d fire,the three people who escaped were just lucky although with some burns.rip to the victims.

Most of these accidents happen because there is no proper road worthiness that is conducted on these cars before they are allowed to be registered.

A lot of these danfo drivers are drug addicts. They'll never fix the numerous problems their buses have until they use it to kill innocent people. 80% of danfo drivers don't have side mirrors and they'll switching lanes like bas.tards.

God please may we never be victims to bad omen. And may the roads never see our blood. when the time comes for us to transit to the other side,may it be as peaceful as possible. rip to the dead. so sad.

The useless VIOs are busy looking for flashy cares that one bulb in the brake light isn't working and arrest, rather than to check the careless nature and severe lack of maintenance in commercial (small & big) buses. Not forgetting trailers, lorries and container long vehicles etc..
