It is no longer news that online registration of 2017 batch A prospective Corp members started on Thursday, April 20, 2017. While many of us rushed to the café to do the registration, perhaps, only a few prepared for the herculean task that was ahead of them.

From series of internet network issue, to exhorbitant fee charged at the café, many of the soon-to-be corpers' patience were tested. My own issue started when I got to the stage of making the registration payment of three thousand naira and it was written boldly on my dashboard that MY EXEMPTION LETTER IS ALREADY BEING PROCESSED AND WOULD BE SENT TO MY SCHOOL. I turned 30 last year and started school (university) at the age of 24, thinking that i would graduate at the age of 28. Due to strike and other internal issues in my school, my graduation was delayed for two years...

Seeking to find a way out, i visited NYSC website and found this:

Correction of Date of Birth
Henceforth, information from the West African Examination Council (WAEC) will now be used to effect changes on the NYSC portal as from the 2017 Batch 'A' online Registration. The new procedure is as follows: STEPSi. Login to your dashboard and click on the link to Date of Birth
ii. Enter WAEC Verification PIN, select WAEC Type, Year of exam and enter your Examination Number
iii. Click on Verify button
iv. Click SUBMIT or CANCEL


Correction Of Course of Study
The Following are the Procedures for Correction Of Course Of Study On The NYSC Platform. STEPSi. Login to your dashboard and click on the link for Correction of Course of Study;
ii. Select Course of Study; and
iii. Click SUBMIT

Pls, is this a way out or what do you suggest i do...to be among this batch A Corp members going to camp soon...
