Hello house I downloaded the latest freeme stock system update for my m8 pro last night and now my contacts,SMS and phone calls button no longer work after the upgrade! I've not rooted my phone before and don't have a laptop

Please house what can I do to reverse this upgrade and go back to how things were before?

Ressurection is more beautiful nd has got alooot of customizations but won't detect your simm..still under development
Go for the lineage also beautiful too
I'm using resurrection remix though. Quite nice. I got this device on Wednesday

Take note of the apps you downloaded or updated last and start deleting one by one. I've not heard of this hanging problem in a 2GB ram phone in years.

You guys need to take it easy with the way you update phones in general. Even the big names sef can update and have issues. Wait for techies with laptops and technical know-how to test it first and then give an OK to the average consumers.

You have to wait for another OTA update to be pushed. You're now at the mercy of Leagoo developers.

Ask for recovery file of leagoo M8 pro from the house. I don't have it, ... I don't know how to extract the file from the ✆. It will solve your problem if you can be able to get the file.

@Obi58, factory reset will solve the problem if you won't mind shocked but the update is not ok at all.

Now I think it's the battery(didn't charge to 100% on first use)...
Pls I want to order for new battery
But I would like to test the phone with a battery from another m8 pro
Pls if you're in Enugu help a brother

It might be a flashing problem

Anyways

I have a battery here with me in lagos for 3500 add 500 and get it down to enugu

PLEASE I ADVICE
DON'T BE IN A HURRY TO USE THAT PHONE
ALWAYS CHARGE BEFORE FIRST USE, EVEN IF THE PHONE IS ON 100%, just charge till it displays fully charged

I did the factory reset from recovery mode now I've landed from frying pan to fire as upon login with my google account it keeps asking me to login with a google account previously synced with the device.

How am yet to get any update notification for mine thou.

I bought mine in July and the build number is 20170320
Updated 2 weeks later to build number 20170508
will upload shot when the network is good enough.
