I was having a discussion with a friend and the issue between a good business ideas or capital, which is more valuable. My friend believes that capital is more important because according to him without capital it will be difficult to execute the business ideas into reality. That is the idea will remain on paper without capital. He believes that the man of means (capital) will always employ the man of intelligence (ideas).

However, from my point of view, I disagree with him. I believe a good idea is the most valuable. Ideas rule the world and all solid businesses in the world are founded on good ideas. There are a lot of individuals with capital that still don't know what business embark upon. And I also know businesses that started with huge capital that shut down within a short period. The problem is simply because they lack good ideas.
So, which one do you think is more valuable between idea or capital, when starting a business?

Capital Bro. Get that and then ideas can be sourced. If you have ideas efore hand even, they may change when capital enters hands.

Idea rule the world, with good idea, capital may not be a big deal.

In this part of the world, Capital is more valuable than idea. This is because entrepreneurship is dead and the cost of securing the ideal capital for your business idea is unbelievably high. We don't have investment banks, no venture capitalist firm and very few private equity firms. So if you have a fantastic workable idea, it's nearly impossible to raise enough investment except if you have access to some top politician money. If not you are on your own.

Idea is more valuable.but to the average Nigerian,it's the other way round.
A valuable idea can generate more capital.most multinationals today are able to continually generate capital by way of public offers because of valuable idea behind the corporation.
Every now and then,we see capital intensive business ventures collapse or sell off within a few years of incorporation because of factors more important than capital,including a valuable idea and competitive strategy.
