My Dell Inspiron 600m suddenly turned off. I cannot start it with or without the power supply. It remains black. Whenever I connect the power supply, the power indicator light on the power supply turns off. What should I do?

do you mean the charger, laptop or the mains  where it was pugged in

The term power supply needs to be clarify.

Does it power up ?

Any LED Lights ?

Fan spins ?

Turned off by itself ?

Does it work by charger or battery ?

lol. is true though, a technician got to understand user's
requirement. If I am not satisfied I don't offer help as I could
be making it worse. common issues like computer is slow, cant connect
to internet, no power. all those things need to be broken down

you know more yourself. That the industry for us all.

my laptop used to do this sometimes

one option, disconnect the battery, leave it for an hour reconnect and try again

if this doesn work, you may have to get someone to reseat the processor
