Nigeria Blacklisted By Us? What About The British Suicide Bombers? by Piddo(m): 10:06am On Jan 05, 2010
The first suicide bomber from Nigeria and we are immediately classified amongst other well known terrorist nations. How so unfortunate. Why this double standard from the US and indeed the international community? Indeed Nigeria does not enjoy the best reviews when it comes to reputation but being labelled a terrorist nation is another stigma all together. I have compiled a list of headlines I could find on British Suicide bombers over recent years but no one has labelled the UK a terrorist nation nor has the US blacklisted them. British suicide bombers have been fingered in planned attacks over trans atlantic flights and actual ones carried out in the UK, Tel-Aviv, Somalia, amongst other places . So why is it different with Nigeria? If all the headlines below were to be credited to Nigeria, we would have been banned from travelling anywhere outside our shores. This is injustice and our information minister should be quick to use this information as a weapon of defence for our already battered image. Nairalanders, lets propagate this information.

Welcome to US & Western World Hypocrisy 101 and Double Standards 102.

This is a way of life for them and I doubt if they can stop now.

Where are those Nigerians on this forum that basically sold their birth rights and would rather die defending the US than admit any wrong doing on the part of US?

Let us hope that they will be exempted by the stigmatization by telling them that in reality they defend the US all the time.

Let us hope this does not lead to killing of innocent people just as Iraqis witnessed based on lies.
