Why is America the only prime target of destruction for Islamic extremists? I don't know how many us ask ourselves this particular question. Terrorists before faruk muttallab have been boarding planes which will pass christian Europe without detonating their bombs till they reach American soil. The excuse that Bin Laden gave for staging the 9/11 attacks was that the Americans support the Israelis to oppress the neighboring Palestinians and also concerning the American military bases on Arab soil. These excuses were just a cover up of the real motive.

Personally I strongly believe that these extremists are on a clear mission to islamize the whole planet and they view America as the capital of the christian world and power which if they succeed in annihilating, will make their dream of an Islamic world a close reality and success. These terrorists are adopting a modern jihad tactics of striking fear and disorientation in the minds of the Americans to force them to convert to islam, and this method appears to be working out a little bit for them. A research was conducted just after the 9/11 attacks and it was discovered that a good number of Americans converted to islam as a result of the attacks. Since the American culture and power influences the rest of the world, they believe that islamizing America will make them gain that influence and power to be utilized in their own advantage to further islamize the rest of the world. America is simply the front line of today's religious war. This war is just at the begining stage, the severe stage is yet to come which will ignite the whole world. The American bomber Drones are having a little effect in dismantling these extremists, the organization of terrorists is growing faster and stronger day by day. Al qaeda even has an operational base in America, so what do we expect? Any little lapse in security they will hit hard again. They more they succeed in these attacks, they more they instill fear into people who will have no option but to embrace islam to guaranty their security on earth. Islamic extremism will not die today or tomorrow as long there are still infidels roaming about. There is no difference between a moslem who carries a bomb and the one who doesn't carry a bomb, the both share the same ideology. Those who don't carry the bombs support the bombers in secret and later come out in public to say its unislamic. This is a religion which has done more harm to the society than the good which it was intended for.
