Ladoja did not formed Accord party. The party was not formed by a single man. The party was already in existence when Ladoja was in PDP before joining the party. But he was the one that brought the party to Oyo state and made it stronger

There is no way this rice is Okowa's rice, the guy is too smart to do such,must be the work of his political opponents who want to cause disaffection within the Delta PDP family.
Of course Okowa has used accord party to deal with power blocs within the PDP once there is a tussle.
CASE 1
When senator Osakwe wanted to go for second term in 2003 ,Ahmadu Ali being the national chair of PDP worked against him and ensured his own wife Mariam Ali got the PDP ticket, then Okowa quickly told Osakwe to pick the accord party ticket and he made his political structure available to Osakwe who beat Mariam Ali hands down,of course once Osakwe got to the senate,he decamped to PDP again
I now of two other instances where Okowa did same thing for a local government chairman and a serving house of assembly member.

Accord Party is prominent in Delta state because it was initially formed by PDP in Delta state, in a bid to frustrate the governorship ambition of Great Ogboru.
It later grew to become a platform for aggrieved PDP members who didn't get a ticket to the house to push forward their ambition, from being a dummy party ACCORD has grown beyond what PDP could control to a Party ready to Stand and Via for bigger positions.

Sequel to the appeal court ruling in favour of Ali Modu Sheriff, any PDP candidate not endorsed by Sheriff would be overturned by the tribunal. If not well played, the first runner up - APC may win from the court. So the strategic line of action was to adopt a party who is not an 'opposition' to PDP. If Markarfi wins at the supreme court, the accord man defects to PDP. QED.

This is a misleading post.

That lady there is neither Okowa's wife nor his deputy. This indicates that she is a politician running for a post in Delta under the accord party, she is just gumming body with her amiable governor who though ran under PDP during the gubernational, is governor of all Deltans.
