sorry, NCE holders are not eligible to mark. To apply as a checker, visit the venue on 26th, address your letter to THE HEAD OF MARKING VENUE, (then add the name of the town). Submit the letter to the Secretarial staff i.e the secretary of the marking venue. Success

You are eligible to mark OFFICE PRACTICE, COMPUTER STUDIES, BOOK KEEPING.

Go to St Dennis Memorial college Onitsha or Christ the King College Onitsha on the 25th and find out if these subjects I mentioned will be marked there. If any of these will be marked there, go back on 26th, locate the classroom where their cordination meeting is going on and join them on daily basis till Sunday 28th

I just found this post, how possible is for me to still make it through the meetings , I stay close to one of the centres in Lagos ,Bsc in computer science, that's my course of study.
I need just lil more info on how to go about the whole thing.

Go there on Thursday to find out if your subject is being marked at the venue (coz some states/town have more than one marking venue and in this case subjects are split/shared among the marking venues in the state or town) then Friday for the briefing and coordination meeting.

How Much Do They Give Examiner? I used to know that they mark per script, how much per script and can one take the paper home to mark?

Be there by 8.30 am. General briefing of CEs, TLs & AEs by the WAEC team will commence first likely by 9.00am after which they will move to their various subject classrooms for the coordination meeting

I started marking as a corper (gatecrasher) here in abuja. It's stressful though jus a part time thing. If ure going for the first time, u wil nid to go with ur credentials(original)...that means ure a gatecrasher. It's starting on Thursday to Saturday or even Sunday depending on the area/state. I mark mathematics and some times further Maths. The pay ain't so attractive buh at all at all no bad. If u have an ssce, you are not qualified to mark instead u can apply as a checker. Checkers are been paid wages(that is each day) for a sum of #800... Dis depends on the particular scripts anyway. Good luck to the freshers, it's a good experience if ure inthe educational system.
