The much anticipated fight between Nigerian born British boxer, Anthony Joshua and Wladimir Klitschko came with a surprising test of wits, strength and endurance as both men battled it out into the 11th round of the game.

However, the entertaining blow-for-blow game ended in favour of Anthony Johnson who knocked his 41-year-old opponent down in the 11th round of the match and went on to become the winner.

The fight which will go down in history as one of the biggest fights however put Joshua ahead as he won the fight in the 11th round with a vicious uppercut that sent his opponent to the canvas.

Wladimir, although lost the fight will however take solace in the fact that he is the first ever fighter to bring Anthony Joshua on his back.



The Ukrainian professional and veteran boxer, Wladimir Klitschko who lost the IBF, WBA and IBO heavyweight titles to Anthony Joshua on Saturday night during the sixth round of the match makes the first opponent to put Anthony Joshua on the canvas in his professional career.

We all know what happened... Joshua will someday do the same for a younger opponent to keep the sport alive. All na arrange.. taking a dive for the greater goo is an integral part of boxing since time immemorial. Joe Frazier did it for Foreman, Ali did it Sugar Ray, Tyson for lewis, lewis for hasssim the rack man, Klitchko for Joshua... I sabi boxing history and from day 1 after fury was engaged to play a part in the plot I knew immediately where this was headed. Fury who was supposesed to be the fall guy in the ring, but a second thought ( 2 British in London) won't get the desired attention and hype. So Fury was made to fall of outside the ring, while Klitchko falls inside the ring to give birth to a new champion of 27yrs to keep the sport relevant. It's a cabal thing. All of a sudden, fury who is no longer mentally and legally fit to fight is now allowed to take up a Challenge from AJ.. just ask yourself. And you can also imagine the attention and hype AJ fights will get from now on and the huge millions of dollars it will wreck in for promoters, trainers, TV and the gambling cabal. It's a well thought out plan that was executed flawlessly. But veterans like myself know more than they think.
