According to some photos shared on Facebook and going viral, residents of Akassa in Brass Local Government Area of Bayelsa state were delighted after a big whale washed up in their river. The photos showed a large crowd of men and women, young and old butchering the huge whale for food. The poster didn’t mention if the big fish washed up dead or alive. "The whale crash-landed in Akassa, Brass LGA, Bayelsa State and became delicious for her people" captioned by the poster.
