I sincerely hope that more of our leaders will begin to look inwards. Today, I listened to former governor Peter Obi talking about having only 2 pairs of black shoes and one house (which is in Onitsha) and I felt some hope for this country. He also spoke about how he spent his own security vote (which is about 12 billion naira/annum) and how past successive governments were bedeviled by sharing any money that comes with reckless abandon.

I hope that people who have made negative comments on this thread will begin to have a rethink, especially if such people still support public officials who wasted Nigeria's commonwealth.
