Monday’s event. For the 2017 MET Gala held at the Museum of Art in New York, the son of legendary acts Will Smith and Jada Smith stepped out for the event in a full black getup, the odd thing out being the chopped off dreadlocks he carried artfully like a talisman. Jaden lost his dreadlocks on April 11, when his father Will Smith took to his Facebook page to announce that he has chopped off the boy’s hair. The photos went viral and triggered hilarious memes. Even Nigerians joined in making fun of the young act, saying he finally looks responsible. Well, the ostensible reason behind the haircut is that Jaden is staring in a new movie, Life in a Year, in a role which seems to demand it.
