beberebe:All I'm clamouring for is for you guys to intensify you quest for Biafra cos we're booting you outta all Nigerian state and the FCT very soon. Confused animals who insisted of developing Lagos (a Nigerian state) but wants to leave Nigeria, yet, their ever cursed land is filled with craps. Lagos was initially called Nnwalagos, Lord Luggard changed it to Lagos. Research now has it that by 2020, the population of Igbo youths will be less than 50 as they would all have been slaughtered in Asian countries as a result of drug offences. We are awaiting when you will receive your own order to go develop Indonesia. We all will be here to mock your ass. 3 Likes |

We know the reality on ground and its gonna be a waste of time arguing with people living in far away South East over our own land. we all know that coastline and oil producing lands which all belongs to ijaws was ceded yo Yoruba's in the name of ondo state. ESE odo local government and ilaje all belongs to ijaws and this is evident in the name the villages and the people bear. the entire coastline of ondo is made up of only ilaje LGa which is purely ijaw 100%. what of Ogun? we also know the coastline of Ogun is also inhabited by the ijaws and that is the reason for the militant activities going on their. when ijaw militants attack Lagos they run back to their lands in Ogun creeks. we all know that Lagos belongs to the benins as history and the oba of Lagos testified. Yoruba's historically was not fishers or ocean dwellers. this lands was annexed because of proximity, the population and political influence of Yoruba's. Because yorubas helped the north in the war they were compensated with peoples land. who will speak for the minority Benin's and ijaws? 3 Likes |

Benin pipo ar born warriors we colonized ad lived in almost every state in the western part of nigeria..starting from ondo to lagos..Our warrior ancestors spared osun formerly known as ife "the barren land".We spared it becos the oni begged for his dare life.We had mercy on him becos the binis are merciful and diplomatic in nature.we now levied a tax on him, the Benin tax collectors nick named it "your money or your life" tax..Dats how we spared ife and the oni.. we now crossed over to lagos and seized it from the Aworis, eguns and co. Just listen to yourself; "The Yoruba help the north in war, so they came down west to chase ijaws and Benin's out of Lagos"... This is the dumbest comment ever on NL. Dude, you're qualified for a Nobel Laurette in Stupidity. You outrightly dabble into issue you're very naïve about. Your nativity knows no bond. You'll sit down in your cesspit down east and been spewing trash about other tribes. Oxtonguy:So you resorted to using a blog as proof for your claim. Let me put it simple, as an Edo I don't see any difference between Bini and Esan. We have the same leader: Omo n'Oba n'Edo. We have been together for thousands of years. We are Edo ! It is not possible that we fight each other. Esan are just as involved in Benin history as Bini are ! In our language we barely even use the word Bini, we refer to ourselves as Edo !!!!! You guys should stop trying to become spokespersons for other tribes and other traditions of which you know nothing. 2 Likes |

Guestlander: That guy is ignorant and very arrogant. He knows nothing about Oranmiyan and still arguing with people that knows better than him, even comparing a mighty Yoruba nation with that tiny Benin. Oranmiyan brought the title Oba to Benin, even the new Oba of Benin said same on his coronation. Read it here; Oba Ewuare II, who explained why he should be regarded as the 40th Oba of Benin contrary to the belief that he is the 39th Oba, said: “There may be some divergent views about the origin of some of our ancestors but there is unanimity in the shared heritage between the people of Benin and Ile-Ife in identifying Oduduwa as a forebear of kingship in parts of Africa and Nigeria of today. “Historians all agreed that Oduduwa sent his son Oranmiyan as requested by elders of Benin to return with them as ruler of their realm. Oranmiyan stayed in Benin, but his stay was short. But by the time he left he had a son known today as Eweka I. Oranmiyan’s time in Benin was however short-lived, he was an Oba. So he was the first Oba after the Ogiso dynasty, he established Obaship in Benin. Therefore the listing of past Obas should start from Oranmiyan. This actually made my late father the 39th Oba of Benin while I am the 40th Oba of Benin.” The new Oba said he will pay due attention to Read more at: http://www.vanguardngr.com/2016/10/pomp-pageantry-as-bini-kingdom-crowns-oba-ewuare-ii/ 7 Likes 1 Share |
