5 Unbelieveable Places That Breeds Mosquitos In Our Homes.

Mosquito is an insect fly that causes the dreaded disease called malaria, which had caused millions of death over the years in many countries all over the world especially countries in Africa.

A fight against malaria campaign had been set up to end malaria forever, but with the continous breeding of these midge-like flies in our environment makes this fight seems imposible to achieve, if we could all take responsibility of this task on our shoulders and eradicate mosquitos then surely we have win.

Without further ado, below are a list of the unbelieveable places that breeds mosquitos in our homes.

1. Bathroom.
Have you ever wondered how those mosquitos got into your toilets, well our Bathroom Water Closet(Wc) is a good breeding field for mosquitos, there is constant water in it either you flush or not,
and mosquito needs a place like that where it could lay its eggs, to leave the WC's lead open gives room for a mosquito to lay its egg and further its growth.

Please close the WC lid at all time, men most especially should learn to close the WC after use to avoid the breeding of mosquitoes in the home, also pour in larvicide, or insectiside weakly to create an inconducive environment for the larvae.

2. Kitchen.
The Kitchen Sink is also a good breeding field for mosquitos, you would agree with me that you have spotted this insects in the kitchen before and wondered how they got there, well these flies sometimes flys into the sink to lay its egg, which could remain in there or be flushed out into an enabling environment to grow.

Please use the sink plug when the sink is not in use and do not soak dirty burnt pots or leave dirty plates overnight

3. Septic Tank.

Septic tank or the soak away is an
enabling environment for mosquitos as it's filled with stagnant dirty water, if these flies sould find their way into such a place then you have a mosquito breeding factory in your home.

Make sure your septic tank/soak away is properly closed or covered to avoid the entering of these flies also fumigate it monthly if you can.

4. Over Head Tank.

Do not be suprised, over head tanks are filled with water constantly, though clean but it's still a good breeding ground for mosquitos, all the insect needs is a water body and it would lay its egg, a mosquito larva can easily be spotted in our tanks and a ''Wriggler'' can survive for 4-14 days.

Close the Over head tank always and make sure there is no whole or space the mosquito could enter through

5. Gutters

Where else if not the gutters, gutters are one of the most well know places that breeds mosquitos in our environment, it is their number one breeding habitat all over the world.

Please clean your gutters always and pour in some disinfectants like dettol or even insecticides/Chemicals like Snipper or DDforce, Larvicides if available, it creates an inconducive enviroment for the growth of mosquito larvaes
