What he said. Atheism, like theism, is a broad term. It only captures, generally, one aspect of belief/disbelief: disbelief in the existence of deities. That's it. So, it doesn't preclude holding religious sentiment, belief in the supernatural, and reincarnation. While, personally, I don't believe any of those things are real, I've met atheists who hold those beliefs. Daoists, UU's, etc.

So it's possibly more understandable, look at of theism. That you believe in one absurd triple god in one, doesn't prevent Hindus from holding an equally absurd belief in a poly-deities-in-kind-of-one religion. The descriptor can only tell you so much about the beliefs individuals hold.

I'm an atheist , there are wiccan atheist and they cast spell, there are people studying witchcraft in the universities maybe not in Africa but there are many in Europe and other continents ... Casting spell has nothing to do with God since spells,magic and the likes are science that today's science have no explanation for (now). if someone come with a remote control and a tv in year 1200 without explanation everybody will think its a magic because there is no explanation for it , there are cloaking devices now that will make you appear invisible by bending light through the garment but scientists still have a long way to go on it ...

As long as you don’t believe in any gods then you’re an atheist. If whatever brand of witchcraft doesn’t involve belief in gods, then you’re an atheist.
