Re: General Australian Student Visa Enquiries Part 3 by Aniangi: 7:35am On Dec 02, 2017 |
prof1999:. Getting Visa is only by God's grace. Most times the amount sitting on the account doesn't matter but the in flow and out flow of funds. |

Aniangi: Yes I used an agent. In August, we got a mail from them stating that the application is ready for finalization and that we should submit an updated COE and OSHC which we did. Sometime in September, we wrote to them and they replied stating that a decision cannot be given before 4 months to resumption. So we took "chill pills" and relaxed. Fast forward to earlier last month, we contacted them again and this time they only acknowledged the mail and stated that they have high volume of applications and that they will attend to the application. I intend to travel in February if granted visa but I need them to reach a decision on the application before the year ends. I cannot start 2018 in Limbo. I need to plan for 2018 in 2017. Traveling across continents for studies requires a great deal of preparation and time to settle in into the new environment. At this point, all I can say is thank you JESUS for everything I have. I cannot let a visa application bother me when GOD has done enough for me in 2017. 6 Likes |

Churkie:Dude from what you wrote I think you are very likely to get a grant, continually pestering them might make u seem desperate which are clear traits of a non genuine student and you know what that means, anyway you the captain of ur boat you can do as you wish but if I were you I would wait as they have advised me to do and pray for the best. 1 Like |

Churkie: Personally I feel everybody who applied around May, June and July and have not yet received a refusal should be positive. Chances are, they have reached a decision as regards our grants and they are probably just trying to delay us so we don't go there on time and start working. If that's the case then they are not being fair. We should be compensated for the time wasted because we applied long before our initial start up date and had to defer because they couldn't keep to their own visa processing time. This Obariama dude applied in September and got his grant in November so its certain they don't operate on a case by case- first come first serve basis. If they are truly being professional, we should not only be given our grants but also we should be compensated. My own take 4 Likes |

noscarn91: I agree with you. I have even told my agent not to write to them again till next year. That is, if we don't read from them before the year ends. Well information gathered is that DIBP will close for the year on the 23rd of December which is exactly three weeks from today. |

Re: General Australian Student Visa Enquiries Part 3 by noscarn91(m): 3:53pm On Dec 02, 2017 |
cynthiaezebaby:My sister I don't mean to sound rude but google those questions , I am not a nurse , neither have I ever been to Australia , so I won't know how fast their universities process admissions but with they way things are going you might have to wait a while for the school to process your admission because of the bad eggs we have over there , as regards to the cost of your intended study , all I have to say is an Australian education is not cheap , personally my Msc school fees is close to 9 million , just do your research yourself because the atmosphere in this thread right now is very cloudy and stormy, people are not happy, many people have being waiting for months for DIBP' s response, so nobody might have time to give u an appropriate and detailed answer. Godluck. |

am new here. i applied with my family as dependant since May 28th for July intake because of the delay of getting grant we have to defer till Feb 2018 and i submited the updated CoE along with my Son primary school new CoE too since 19th of Sept. Up till now the statue on my immiacccount is still showing as ASSESSMENT IN PROGRESS since June. Before i defer i send DIBP email that i want to defer to next intake which is Feb 2018 they should put my application on HOLD.And they replied that i should ensure i update my new CoE on my application when i get it.When i got the new COE i updated in on my immiaccount and so attached it via email to DIBP and they replied that they have forwarded it to a case officer since Sept 19. till now am still waiting. |

@ Cynthiaezebaby. This your name long...lol.. meanwhile, for a Masters degree program in Nursing. Australia is really expensive and if you can afford it, you are good to go. Visit Google and search for Australian Universities and narrow it down to the ones that offers Masters in Nursing. Look for Masters program that is 2 years duration which will lead you to successful postgraduate work permit at the end of your study. Also compare the tuition fees of those Institutions and know the one you can afford. During your application for admission, your school in India has to send your official transcript on your request to your intended institution of your choice. I advice you to do more work on this as I have highlighted some key points that will guide you. If you have any question, feel free to ask. For those of us waiting for our grant. The lord ask me to tell you this. He has Enough Grants in stock for each and every one of us. By this time next month, I decree and declare in Gods name that there will plenty to celebrate and smile. Receive yours in Jesus name, Amen!.. cynthiaezebaby: 2 Likes |

On my immiaccount the statue is still on ASSESSMENT IN PROGRESS and dated submited 28th May and Last Update 29th May. Since that time till now nothing have changed even after i defer my July Intake to Feb 2018 with RMIT. please my question ,is it that since i submited my app on 28th May and they received it 29th May since that time my file have not be reviewed? I am so confused and the waiting is too much. i have to know my fate before the end of the year. |
