I applied for my visa on the 17th of may. i have done my biometrics and medicals.
the status changed from initial assessment to "Further Assessment" on the 6th of June and it hasnt changed since.

I already missed my orientation but I mailed them and they scheduled late orientation for the 4th of July 2018.

My course start date is on the 25th of June, i dont want to defer and I AM FREAKING OUT!!!!

I think your application is still within the estimated processing time. But, you can still send a mail to the VO to let them know your course date is very close and that you have gotten a late orientation date from your school. Maybe, just maybe they'll consider you and speed up ur application processing.

But I really think you should be a little more patient. Mine was stuck on "Initial Assessment" for like 2 months. It was finalized a day after it showed "Further Assessment"

same here..applied on 31st may for a june 4 start date. of course I knew i had to defer but Good thing the uni operates on batches for international students so my agent defered me to 16th july. I have no access to my immi portal as its controlled by my agent and i would really like to know my application status. submitted all necessary docs. its all about prayer nd patience now while we hope for the best. ps does anyone know how i can import my profile on immi portal.

Need some clarification on subsequent entrant. How long it takes for grant. Cus I submitted my application 12th March

I think you should ask your agent for your login details so you can follow up on your own.

Company sponsorship should be clearly defined. Is it scholarship if so, what scholarship scheme and how were you selected. If the company just wants to sponsor you an employee, you will have to give reasons why they are willing to spend so Mich just for an employees masters and not short conference or technical training.
In all honesty, company account for Australia doesn't fly that easily. More so, the account signatories will need to be in sync with the GM as regards this whole sponsorship. Tax clearance and shareholders Dozier will be made available. Having a sponsor who is related to you by blood is more valid, easier and tenable than third, fourth parties.
Go and read up the DIBP policy on financial requirements . I think you will be solidly informed from the source itself.

Get an extension letter from school and mail it straight away to the vo so they know when you starting, just my one cent.

I have recently requested for UK police certificate. However, it appears the certificate is taking more time than anticipated to be delivered as I have been informed that the it was dispatched to Nigeria ten days ago.

Since I am yet to receive the certificate and I do not want to further delay the submission of my application given the fact that I have got all other documents ready, will I be able to attach this document on my portal any time after the submission of my application?

Oga Kessel, it's very simple, fabricate your papers too and get your grant. Ask questions if you don't know something. ignorance kill most Nigerians, for your info, once an AL1 institution clears you and give you CoE, then you are good to go and apply for your visa without SOA. The embassy may or may not request for it while your application is being processed.
I shared my timeline to encourage someone out there. Sorry you choose to be a doubting Thomas but I give God Almighty the glory for what He has done for me.

No college in AL1 schools, AL1 is a list of top seventeen Australian universities. There is a high risk in that, more documents to convince the CO besides when last have you heard of DIBP issuing visa to someone coming to study advanced diploma program in a uni here talkless of college from our part of the world, very rare.
