Hi guys , good morning and happy weekend .. Can anyone recommend a college in Australia that doesn't require agent for processing for post graduate studies.
I await your response , God bless you.

None.

They all want you to use an agent. As they cant be bothered with dealing with all the hustle. That's the mistake many of us do, in trying to cut cost we fail to get the information needed.

Admission is the easy part, the main is the VISA. and once one of these countries USA, Canada, Uk , Australia has denied you VISA once , it becomes a red flag for subsequent Visa processing.

Take time and visit the school website you want. They all have approved agents there u can contact. Take it from there. I used BCIE then, and before I even paid any fee. They requested I bring all my documents to evaluate my chances. When they saw that it was ok, they requested i proceed to pay 150k processing fee.

Good luck.

Well said! but for clarity sake, anyone that has gotten several refusal from those countries don't be despair, still shoot your shot provided you have the right documents and you use a knowledgeable agent.

I have read severally in this thread(2017) upward when people got their visa with multiple refusals from Canada and the USA.

Yes, you right. Thanks for emphasizing that. If you ever get rejected by any of these countries it only means you should cross all ts' and dot all is' on subsequent application. They are very objective ,once u meet the requirements no sentiment they approve.

Good luck everyone. I just like to see other african brothers win.

I greet u all. Ive been reading this thread for weeks now and have really learnt a lot of which i am very much grateful to you all.

My question is, in the area of sponsors. I am self employed, and have been able to save up some funds to sponsor myself. However, i've come to understand that sponsoring myself might not sound well in the ears of immigration officials.

I also learnt that a sponsor is best to be either your siblings (brother or sister), or parents (father or mother). Meaning uncles and aunties stand a low chance. My problem is, my older brother has his own applications to cater for. While my parents dont reallly have any registered business or viable income that can make them eligible to sponsor somebody. I really need help here. Is there a way i can shift the money ive saved up into their account (my parents) so they can sponsor me?

Pls i will like to hear as many suggestions as possible as regards how to go about this. Am considering applying for masters in Cyber Security. Thank you.

Hi Uche, what I think you should do;
1)Target Al1 university
2)Get a reputable agent and explain your status s/he will be in the best position to advise you.
3)Use your parent as your sponsor, the first thing to do is to register a business name for your folks for you to get the cac no.

That's my little contribution.

I saw on VFS Nigeria website that biometrics collection has resumed on the 28 of October. Can anyone here confirm if this information or if anyone here has had their biometrics recently?

Pls what’s the benefit if AL1 universities over others? The little checks I did on google didn’t bring up much. It just said “it’s low risk immigration “ and listed the universities under the category. But no clear explanation was given.

Mind explaining a little? Thank u.

Please house i need help.
My agent has been disturbing me to pay school fees for the February intake but am still scared that the Australian embassy may not be opened to issue visa for the February intake. She is assuring me that they will open and that the earlier I do it the better. Pls should I proceed to make the payment?
U better pay and start ur application. The school will refund ur money if ur visa is not granted, but it most likely will as they actually need ur money.

Hi everyone, I read up the messages from the 1st Jan. of 2020...and please I will say I got clarification of somethings I didn't know before(or never paid attention to) but I have a few questions but here's my profile:

Currently admitted and enrolled at UNSW Sydney... (started lectures online already, didn't defer so I don't miss my scholarship)

I have gotten my COE, agent the school gave me is BCIE (GTE, COE, Sponsorship letter ready) but the agent hasn't started my visa application (her excuse is the submit button is not clicking as she's working on another application and it's not submitting)

My questions:

- My sister's husband is standing as my sponsor (he's based in the US)... he already gave me his W2 form)..but my agent hasn't gotten back to me if the form will fly (her response, they don't know much about US documents)

- Has anyone been able to recently apply for visa?

- Aim for study is to actually JP...I don't know anything about Aussie PR as I assumed first stage is to get there first via study...please can anyone but me through the process?

- Also, is there anything I'm missing out.?? I need guidance ..is there a WhatsApp group for Aussie visa enquiries... I'm new to nairaland (not sure I'm posting this the right way sef)

Well, like you said...

It's low risk immigration, which simply means getting study visa is easier with Al1 uni compared to their counterpart.

Hi Guys,

My friend who is a freelancer has been able to raise about 8m and he is looking to take the student route to Australia.

I would love to know if such amount is enough, he doesn't have a sponsor yet and would solely finance himself.

What do you think guys?
