Haqiiqi22:Free schooling is based on your visa not based on the university you are studying. Check the state where your campus is located and read up their Department of education website. |

I have been processing my admission from the university of Wollongong for some time, I am currently 32 and I estimate that I will be 35 by the end of the masters programme. Please, is this a risky timeline to work with? Considering the new age restrictions with respect to postgraduate study visas. Could there be any delays of any sorts that would possibly make me graduate above 35? and how long exactly (in months) is the standard duration of an Australian masters degree program by coursework? |

Guys please I'm in a confused state right now... I have 24m naira to migrate to either Canada or Australia. If I migrate to Australia successfully, I will be left with just 2k AUD to start life with. However, if I successfully move to Canada I will be left with about 10kCAD to start life with. The problem is canada has very low job opportunities so I might even finish what I came there with before getting a parttime job that will help me pay my subsequent tuition fees, even if from my research parttime wages in canada can't really meet up tuition fees. Meanwhile there are more prospects that I will get a job early within a month or two in Australia, and the parttime salary in Australia is quite high enough to pay my subsequent tuition fees, but the issue is can 2k AUD sustain me till I get a job? So I'm just confused on the country to start investing money for travel process. |

Bro, everything is based on your need and perspective about what is "Worth it". To me, I believe the major requirement you should be considering in the recent visa changes, most especially as it affects the post study stay. Other than that, UoW is about any other aussie uni. Well, except the tier 1 schools. But, as per studying and hustling, you'd always get something to do. This might take sometime, as per settling and assimilation. But after sometime, you'd be stable. Thekingsimon: Australia doesn't have a visa appointment date (like the US). After submission of your visa application, you'll be asked to go for your medicals and biometrics after which your application will be accessed. Waiting times is on the immigration website. |

I think you should be able to get an answer from this link https://visaenvoy.com/school-fees-for-dependants-of-visa-holders/. Look out for the Visa subclass 500. Winning the Australian Govt RTP Scholarship might also be advantageous in that regards sometimes, I think, but I'm not so sure. Please read the RTP benefits on your university of choice to know what you and your dependants are entitled to. Regards. Haqiiqi22: |

Re: General Australian Student Visa Enquiries Part 3 by frank2zee: 4:54pm On Sep 06 |
Gloryable: Most Universities in Australia will always redirect you to an agency they work with. Do you have any specific concerns why you dont want to go through an agency? |
Re: General Australian Student Visa Enquiries Part 3 by Kingdave007: 10:24pm On Sep 08 |
Gloryable:hello, schools in Australia and New Zealand would always direct you to agents to help you process your admission and Visa. My agency can help you with the process provided you have enough funds for PoF, Tuition deposits, Visa fees etc. Our service is FREE OF CHARGE |
