Youths of Biogbolo community in Yenagoa LGA of Bayelsa state, today went on rampage, destroying shops and properties owned by Igbos along Ebis road Biogbolo in Yenagoa. The youths were angered by the murder of a native of the community, who was allegedly murdered in a hotel room on Saturday night. The deceased was murdered in cold blood by a guy who is said to Igbo whom she was said to have been involved in a relationship with for over two years. The culprit had taken the victim to a hotel where she was allegedly drugged and her body torn open by the culprit, who had a clandestine plan to use her vital organs for money ritual.According to eye witness Green Silas who witnessed the whole drama, there is so much resentment for Igbos in that community at the moment.

Maria Udechi had something to say about it

"This is really bad. What has the bad deed of one Igbo got to do with Igbo as a whole. This is a great injustice to Igbo. Law enforcement authorities should arrest this ugly situation immediately before some use this opportunity to take Igbos in Bayelsa a few years back."

One person sin, we punished his family and kinsmen and we take laws into our hands. Why not let the culprit face justice? Oh. I remember, South Africans give Nigerians blanket treatment! It is the African way of extracting justice.
