News on power/NEPA inefficiency is the same all year round. If you take a newspaper from 2013 and compare it with present year, na the same stories on Nepa you would be seeing. |

Nigeria power supply has always being poor, we expected apc govt' s mantra of change to positively change all that, but alas like every other of their promises, its has been cancelled, my handset now lack adequate power to log into my beloved nairaland forum, these days due to poor power supply, & the economy is no more smiling to be powering gen any how. 1 Like |

warts & all, the power sector will overcome its present challenges. the privatization of the sector in December 2013 was still the best move & it would take billions of dollars of investment over the next 10 years before constant & stable power can be enjoyed. those who tongued lashed the previous administration have since realised that there is no shortcut to power development, its going to be a slow & painful process... 2 Likes |

izzou: Lol. but this is just too bad. Whenever I travel out of the country, I just envy this oyibo people how they enjoy basic things that is a luxury to us. Some people have been born, lived and died in this country without experiencing what it means to enjoy 2 straight days of light while thier mates in the developed world may not have seen light go off in thier lifetime. This is just unfair. |

blank: Discos are part of the problem, since taking over from Nepa, they havent invested a dim into upgrading the nation's power infrastructure, they just want to reap where they didnt sow. |
