258 LIBYA DEPORTEES RECEIVED AT THE SCOAN, GIVEN ₦7MILLION

On Friday 12 May 2017, 258 Nigerians who were deported from Libya rushed to The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations (SCOAN) in search of refuge. After learning of their impromptu arrival, Prophet T.B. Joshua and the Emmanuel TV Team immediately provided foodstuff and financial support. Many were frail and unkempt due to the hardship they had endured. Moved by compassion, Prophet T.B. Joshua gave each of them a cash gift totaling ₦7Million alongside two bags of rice and Morning Water to start their lives afresh. Glory be to Jesus Christ! Be a good giver- first to God, and then to your fellow men.

True talk.... But we should also make these foolish people understand that it was THEIR ignorant choices to leave Nigeria by road and hope to get to Europe, when everyone was telling them not to... That's where I disagree.... I would rather they help the millions who stayed and struggle through it all, than the cheap lazy weak ones who ran at 1st sign of trouble.

You are trying to make it seem like their suffering is bigger than the suffering of those who stayed?! Come on! I see these deluded people all around the world, when they arrive in their Eldorado,, the majority CANT cope and finally realise there is NO free money on the ground to pick....but their misplaced ego won't have them return back home. So many of these foolish people's dead body lay at the bottom of the Mediterranean sea.

They have to start right back from scratch, and can't skip stages in life. Let them learn a skill, empower themselves with an education, and then focus on growing from there. Staying in city while they know nobody there to support them is a waste of life.

If they had NOTHING when they left, why do you think they should have any more now?! Let the bag of rice be shared in their village.
