"Wenger Out" Movement Loses More Ground

Goals from Olivier Giroud, Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez gave Arsenal a victory over Stoke City at the Britannia Stadium. Peter Crouch also put one past Petr Cech to end the match 1-4.

Plane carrying the banner "Wenger Out Means Out" was also spotted hovering over the stadium. A defeat or draw to Arsenal could have uplifted the spirit of their movement. But this wasn't one of those nights.

This is the first time Arsenal are scoring first against Stoke in the Premier League. It was followed by a beautiful piece of play between Ozil and Sanchez which was later rounded off by the later to give Arsenal a second goal.

Crouch scored one in controversial fashion using his hand to knock the ball into The Gunners Net. Sanchez and Olivier Giroud later added one apiece to settle Stoke's fate. The qualification for UCL still possible.
