Ebun Francis || Mallam Garba Shehu, the senior special adviser to President Muhammadu Buhari, Sunday evening said that the President is alive and that nothing unpleasant has happened to him. Shehu was reacting to social media messages over the weekend suggesting that the President has passed on. Buhari has a choice to either go and rest in Daura and still stay around for a while OR he remains in power against medical advice so as to hasten his rest in peace. The death of an octogenerian who claims septugenerian is not a mournful one, though. And it may be better off for the nation. |
