If Tinubu had worked for GEJ'S PDP Buhari will never be President. Also if Tinubu did not ensure Buhari won the APC primaries would Buhari be president?
Leave them in their delusion. Buhari had always limited his campaigns in previous elections to the North because he had no funds and structure to go round Nigeria. Working with Tinubu, he had access to the already established structures ACN (under Tinubu) had, media coverage, private jets for travels, a retinue of campaigners etc.

Check very well what makes a president

You have to win 2/3 of all the regions

Mr man, go and face coumassie with your ineffectual analysis and let us have peace. Whether you like it or not, Hausa/Fulani don't give a hute about southwest. If you can use your brain to think at all, you will know that igbos are not your enemies. Very soon, you will beg to become a wailer.

the truth remains that without Tinubu , there is no way Buhari could have win the APC primaries.

My question. how come Buhari did not win the previous election until he merge with ACN.

make we fear God ooo. I know Tinubu is a certified thief , but he brought Buhari to power.
That would only work if tinubu along with the entire south supoort another candidate apart from buhari.
But the fact is, even if tinubu did not support buhari, and the north along with the unprecedented level of northern support for buhari get the south-east or even the south-south, buhari would have emerged president with possibly a much bigger margin.
So in a way tinubu brough buhari to power because, he provided the only remaining jigsaw of the puzzle for buhari to win. It could as well be the SE or SS.

DIdnt Kano give Buhari that amount of vote in 2011, So why didnt Buhari become president

The main difference between 2011 and 2015 was SOuthwest votes
How this isn't glaring to these old men is baffling. There was no way the SS and SE would vote for Buhari especially with GEJ in play. The only option left was to go with the SW.

And it worked out perfectly.

Nothing is too late.
The first step is that tinubu would have to realize that southern politics is not south-western politics.
He is not going to have as much influence as he has in his backward. All these his APC commando style will not fly with the rest of the educated south.
If he agrees, then i think that would be the first major step to any southern political unification.

The North is very proud and dishonest. We all know that without Tinubu and the SW, Buhari wouldn't have won the election.

I am not yoruba and i detest Tinubu, but I will not watch the North mock a people that made this whole thing possible, through their well oiled political machineries(propaganda).

The North is very incorrigible. angry. As soon as this idiot won the election, the north changed their tone. It is no longer one Nigeria but the winner takes all things. I hope the rest of us have learnt a thing or two.

KANO'S votes were more than SW votes for PMB?

Really? I know North get population....but still.....

Let's check the record

KANO: Votes for APC: 1,903,999

SW votes for APC by state

Lagos: 792,460
Ogun: 308,000
Oyo: 528,260
Ondo:299,889
Osun:383,603
Ekiti:120,331

TOTAL:2,432,543

Source of figures: http://www.inecnigeria.org/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/summary-of-results.pdf

Senator Waku should go and check his figures again.

2,432,543 > 1,903,999!

....Lots of folks like me have always known the north to be incorrigble, that was why we rejected buhari at the polls in 2015..but the people you want to 'fight' for called us all sorts of names..Therefore allow them to be mocked and watch their macabre dance with the north from a distance.

my thought exactly.

The effrontery is unnerving

A lot of Nigerians and other party leaders contributed a lot. Kano State alone contributed about 1.8 million to Buhari’s total score, and so did many states in the North. Kano’s votes is more than the votes of the entire South-West,” Waku said.

He forgot it must be majority votes in 2/3 of the country.

Some dorks should not be given press time.

When Afenifere and other Yoruba leaders told Tinubu to be wary of his palongo macabre dances with Buhari and his gang of Hausa Fulani hegemonics cos they don't share power with anyone he didn't listen and now the same people he helped to power are riding roughshod over him with all manners of insults.

He should take it cos what elders saw whilst sitting a child won't see it even by standing on iroko tree. Shebi he disrespected them cos he's got money and influence but now that the 'north' has seen through his antics with his recent use of 'media power' they've decided to whittle down his contribution / influence within the same party he worked assiduously to form / build.

Anyway it's politics...a game of interests. Tinubu should get with the program and how he navigates this to his advantage is what we should wait to see.

Só why did falae ,atiku n ribadu not win despite tinubu's support for them .
Or why did tinubu not package himself to defeat Jonathan .
The truth like waku Said is that tinubu's part in bubu's Victory hás bin grossly misrepresented n exagerrated
Tinubu, like amaechi, rochas, jega, britain ,america,France etc all contributed to bubu's victory.
But truth be Said the popularity n personality of bubu was the Major singular factor, largely responsible for the victory against Jonathan.

Same way Hausas/Fulanis, some Yorubas and some Igbos have been voting for Buhari in previous elections while Buhari kept losing. What these old men sought to do with these comments is to greatly undermine the impact of the Southwest in the emergence of Buhari as the president. If the ACN hadn't merged with CPC, Buhari would not have had at his disposal, the established structure the ACN had.
