Head Risk Management

Duties
• Develop risk management framework and monitor risk maturity
• Develop, enhance and maintain the company’s enterprise risk management processes for effective business operations
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders within the company in order to understand their business objectives and the distinct risks to achieving these objectives
• Stay abreast of internal and external developments that may impact the Group’s risk profile and make internal changes as appropriate
• Plan and facilitate risk workshops to help the business identify its principal risks
• Produce high quality Executive and Board level risk reports
• Assist with assessment of the Group’s principal risks, and other risk related content for the Group’s Annual Report and Accounts
• Provide advice on how to ensure risks are properly identified and evaluated and appropriate controls built in
• Periodic assessment of adherence to risk management procedures
• Establishing and quantifying the organisation's 'risk appetite', i.e. the level of risk we are prepared to accept
• Corporate governance involving external risk reporting to stakeholders
• Carrying out processes to limit risks and prepare for if things go wrong
• Conducting audits of policy and compliance to standards, including liaison with internal and external auditors.

Qualification
A first degree in humanities or social sciences or a related field. A Master’s Degree will be an advantage.

Professional Membership
An Insurance professional certification will be preferable.

Experience
• Minimum of 8 years extensive experience in Risk Management and 3 years in Senior Management role
• A broad background in risk and Insurance
• Self-starter, motivated, enthusiastic and has excellent collaboration skills
• Diverse risk management experience in Insurance or Financial services.



Head, Strategy, Research & Development

Duties

Product Development:
• Coordinate the innovation of new business lines and products for the organisation
• Conduct business and products analyses across all our business lines for possible business and product expansion.

Research
• Proper coordination of market reports and information for business decision
• Deploy market intelligence process
• Analyse market information and give management strategic information on business and product expansion
• Conduct customer survey to determine customer satisfaction level
• Conduct periodic PEST analyses to determine level of exposure to external conditions
• Conduct weekly and monthly competitors market performance
• Conduct weekly and monthly industry analyses for management business decision.

Strategic Management
• Coordinate the annual strategic direction brainstorming and implementation for the company
• Periodic evaluation of the company’s performance
• Design market penetration strategy for new line of business or product
• Design and implement a competitive advantage system across all our business lines to gain competitive edge in the industry
• Effective supervision of all activities in the department
• Team Building and development.


Qualification
Minimum of a Masters’ degree in Business/ Strategic Management.

Professional Membership
Certification in Project & Strategic Management will be an advantage.

Experience
• A minimum of 7 years in Strategic or Business Development
• Good Experience in market intelligence
• Previous experience working in a senior business development role in a Financial Institution.
