The power of social media and the negative impact on the youths.

Social networking sites, eg Facebook, Twitter etc were created to be a helpful tools to communicate with our friends, reconnect with old friends, have fun, etc but the rate which the youths of nowadays post what they are ought to keep secret is really alarming.

The youths forget how powerful the social media is, they easily forget that what they share online reveal a lot about who they are. The same way how you dress, talks much about who you and can either attract good or bad people to you, it's also applicable to social media.

Social Media can ruin your life completely if you are not careful of what you share because whatever you share online will stay forever and can't be deleted completely because others may actually have seen and saved it or share it to other sites and finally it circulates.


And I even suspect future generations will be unable to distinguish between meaningful relationships and casual acquaintances.

Always be mindful of whatever you share on social media.
