Guy really wanted to impress with his overtly verbose theatrics ![]() Too much sauce in this story. He exaggerated to make it an action sequence in a 007 film I am surprised he didn't turn his umbrella into a parachute at a point 2 Likes |

Nice use of language @ Op. Thank God for the gift of your life. Something urgently needs to be done concerning the security and safety of that road. especially now that corpers would be passing through that axis to and fro camp. |

If you stumble upon robbers on the highway and they haven't blocked the road ahead of you, your best chance is to floor your accelerator and hope for the best. Otherwise just stop and give them what you have got. Reversing is not an option as they normally anticipate this move and mount guys towards to back waiting. I only travel by road in Nigeria and I have been hello lucky so far. My rules for travelling within Nigeria by road is to always make sure that there is a vehicle Atleast 20 - 30 meters ahead of me. I call that vehicle my spotter. If the vehicle breaks or reacts funny, I slow down assess the situation and then take action as necessary. Thankfully so far all I have witnessed are several accidents (yeah they happened live) but no robbery. A friend of mine happened upon robbers in Delta state one time. He was just coming out of a bend when he saw them and one was dragging a big log of wood across the highway. Thankfully he hadn't yet covered the entire road and there was still an opening so my friend floored his accelerator and actually hit the guy pulling the log as he was maneuvering the blockade. His car was quite damaged but he didn't even bother. They opened fire on him but he was gone. 2 Likes 1 Share |

fadafuqer: Please stop this. It is a lie from the pit of hell. Satan cut people life short. God never intends anyone die young. Our inability to perfectly see into the mind of God for our lives and faithfully follow through gives satan chance to do man a lot of harm. The closer you are to God and the clearer you can hear from him, the safer you live through life. He guides and leads you away from danger, if you are by chance caught in it, he provides escape route. It all depends on how obedient you are. It is why the scripture says "Obedience is better than sacrifice". God does not kill!!! 2 Likes 1 Share |

that Abuja Kaduna is a dead trap. I also escaped them two months ago while they have gunned down 3 people. blood splashed on the roads & cars. when I saw mobile police with AK47, I said my last prayers but thank God it was really police not robbers which had killed those guys. my advice, if you are passing through kaduna-Abuja road, pls leave from 8-5pm. that place is death trap |

Being on that road from 6:30pm is scary, wonder why some still risk it. tales of bullets and hitting of the sticks of herdsmen. Be on that road from 7am to 5:30pm only aside that goodluck trying. It will take 20-30mins for the police stationed on each of those points to respond to an actual distress due to the nature of the hits on that road ,stay safe guys |
