So many singles belief that if they are not married, they are not complete for they have the mindset of getting married and when marriage does not take place, they assume something is wrong with them.then fears begins to reign in their heart. what are these fear that reign in the heart of the single that we need to overcome?

1.Age: many people feel that they are getting old therefore fear begins to reigns in their heart. They begin to ask God question “when”, ‘when will you give me your will in marriage?’ we should note that God’s timing is important not our timing. God knows the best time for you. Fear may want to overcome your heart, all may seem lost but he has not forgotten you. You might be single now but the joy of motherhood /fatherhood will surely come.

Women especially want to marry early. The reason is they age quickly than the men while it is possible that at fifty, sixty, a man can marry a lady in her twenties but a woman in such category cannot marry a young man in his twenties

At the age of thirty- forty, most women become anxious and worried that they are not married. For, women, there is menopausal syndrome or the seized of menstrual bleeding, basically between the age of forty-five to fifty. These contribute immensely to fear that reigns in women that are still single. Men generally begin to get worried at the age of thirty five to forty. But as a believer, this fear is not justified. Remember the age at which Abraham and Sarah had Isaac. Never let your age wail you down. It is not when you marry that matters but Gods timing ‘do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God’ (Romans 12:2).

2.Past: so many people have the fear of been single all the rest of their life because of their past. It doesn’t matter what you have done if you turn to God and confess your sins, He will forgive you of all unrighteousness. Never mourn your past the grace is there for you. Open those gates of the past and escape from it .you have got a whole paradise ahead of you to cherish. Don’t ruin today by worrying about the past for yesterday won’t ever come back, just make the best of today and hope for a better future. Everyone has his/her own past don’t let your own ruin you down don’t let it ruin your future. You cannot get on with your live and all that God has for you as long as you are bound and tattered to the past. You might have leaved a wayward and destructive past life which makes your life to be miserable but there is hope.

the fear of FALLING IN LOVE AGAIN and REJECTION is also part of the fear that reigns in the life of the singles. read this up at http://www.afrikanviewblog.com/general/things-that-bring-fear-in-the-life-of-the-singles/
