Hi guys, Partially re-posted as is from TechMoran, I worked on this, Nairaland has a big audience for suggestions and valid input.

The aim of the bot is to bridge the gap of users that have zero access to legal consultancy and little or no access to basic legal education. (Non-profit)

Quick 2 minute video if you don't want to read the Description below

GaniBot:
A lot of Nigerians go about their daily life without knowing their daily rights, except by virtue of ethics and what is morally acceptable. Most are never aware until the day a Lawyer tells them when they get in trouble.
Most people suffer and are brutalised daily for minor offences they could have bravely stood their ground for.

This project was aimed as a timely intervention for every Nigerian to know their rights and how to ensure it's not violated before, during or after they get into any trouble.

The Bot is always online with quick human-like answers and empathy by the BOT to daily legal questions, punishments and a guide to further research.

Questions that the Bot cannot answer immediately will try to be replied in 48 hours.

GaniBot provides the latest contact information of verified Human rights services (Domestic violence , anti-rape, suicide prevention hotlines)

GaniBot can also give you the latest contact details of the Nigerian Army, Police and Civil Defence'
Human Rights desk where users can lodge harassment and other complaints to.

Lol bro, the Nigerian Police will reason twice when they know you are aware of your rights.
More so, if you can report an erring officer or commend one...

Why not if not?
