The Catholic Bishop of Issele-uku Diocese, His Lordship, Bishop Odogwu Elue yesterday, May 27, 2017, poured praises on Senator Peter Nwaoboshi for building a home for Reverend sisters.

Speaking at the formal opening of a house in Ibusa built by Senator Nwaoboshi for the "Daughters of Mary Mother of Mercy Congregation", a group of Reverend Sisters who offer selfless services for the well-being of the needy in the society.

In his speech, His Lordship expressed that Senator Nwaoboshi had exhibited a wonderful philanthropic gesture rare amongst his peers.

The Bishop during the Eucharistic celebration for the house warming stated that Senator Nwaoboshi's investment in the thing of the Lord was in the right direction because he has equally built his treasures in heaven.

He further said that the Senator building house for servants of God indicated his willingness and commitment to more services to humanity and to God Almighty. "I am convinced that God will continue to preserve, bless, sustain and guide the steps of Senator Nwaoboshi and his household."

In a short speech, Senator Nwaoboshi appreciated God for His mercies, divine health, protection and blessings. He further expressed joy for being a true and dedicated Catholic and for the privileges given to him by God Almighty to have achieved the height he is today.
He pledged his commitment to the work of God and to his constituents.

Mother Mary Angeline Umezurike, the Mother-General of Daughters of Mary Mother of Mercy congregation, Catholic Church, Nationwide in her speech thanked Sen Peter Nwaoboshi for this wonderful support to the work of God. She prayed God to continue to bless and prosper Senator Nwaoboshi in all his endeavours in life.

The Bishop finally consecrated the house and blessed Senator Nwaoboshi for his kind gesture.
In the senator's entourage were, chief prof. Epiphany Azinge, the "okilolo" of Asaba, Hon Mrs J. O. Markpor, member, House of Reps, Mr & Mrs Pat Ukah, commissioner for information, Delta state, prof. Emelonye and a host of others.

I know two brothers who many years ago do get building contracting jobs in the east and they do tell of their sexscapades with some so called celibate sisters.

In the words of one of the brothers "awon sistas yen ndo shege ninu ok"

Anyway there are always bad eggs amongst the good ones.

Well done senator.

I was thinking that the senator did well by building a house for the reverend sisters, but after reading a news story - "Nwaoboshi’s Greek Gift to Rev. Sisters, Agenda 2019" - that analysed the supposedly good gesture of the Nigerian senator, I am now having a second thought.
