Reports filtering in from Lagos have it that a 3 storey building under renovation, just collapsed on Daddy Alaja street, Oke-Arin, Lagos Island. The building collapsed about 7:25am this morning.. Some residents are believed to have been trapped as emergency officials have arrived the scene.

Even though there isn't justifiable reasons for this but again if you endeavour to get a competent builder, alaye and omonile will not allow someone to build in peace.

You do first decking.......Owodah
Owodah continues until people start packing in.

You see unnecessary number of people including matured mums working to complete a building that should probably take 3 days in one day forgetting cement needs sometime to set properly.

Sad development.. .. Care shd be taken when renovating a structure and the said structure shd be well supported with props to avoid excessive vibration on the already weakened structure.

As somebody in d construction sector dis is saddening and I call on d lagos state govt to do d needful and check d rising use of substandard material
