Getbarter.co introduce a new updates for their users. Barter cards, powered by Flutterwave are dollar-denominated virtual cards which you can use to pay anywhere on the internet. There updates read thus:

Transfer schedule
You asked and we listened; we have made some necessary changes to the withdrawals feature on Barter. We are glad to announce that from today, all transfers to bank accounts, initiated from today, will be received after 24 hours.
If you initiated a transfer prior to today and you're yet to receive it, please note that we have processed it on our end. We ask that you be patient with your banks, you'll receive the money soon.

Fees.
In keeping with the spirit of upgrades, we're making some changes to the fee structure on Barter to make Barter fairer to use.

This means that when you fund your wallet, you will now bear the cost of that transaction. The fee is a percentage of that transaction but it will be capped at N2,000.

For all users who want multiple cards on their profile, there is now a monthly maintenance fee on each additional card you own. This fee only applies after you have created your second card on Barter. If you see a barter card fee in your transaction history, fear not, it is not an error.

Barter Upgrade
Enough talk about fees, Barter is getting an upgrade! Physical cards and Barter Visa cards are coming! Our website is gearing up to allow users order and pick up physical cards at airports in Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya and South Africa!

While the upgrade is ongoing, auto-card creation may be affected. If you’d like to create a card, fund your wallet, send us a card creation request - tell us how much you want on your new card and once it's created, we will send your card details directly via email.

After the website upgrade, manually generated cards will be added back to your profile and everyone will be able to order physical copies of their Barter cards!
