Trained HR understand that people can adapt in a controlled environment like work where you have KPI. Even the most assertive person can be flexible at work.

Okay. Thanks guys for sharing your experiences here. Five days after my cognitive test I have finally done my Hirevue online Interview. It was really interesting and I hope for good news to come out of it. Keep the spirit guys, let's not be totally pessimistic, I believe some people will win this offer regardless. Cheers!

I scored low too there but it doesn't bother me because of this excerpt I extracted from the assessment mail. Shell knows people may lie during the assessment to score high, hence this

Does the verbal section include reading of comprehensions with the options being ; True, false or cannot say?

Sorry, this doesnt add value to this thread but I just have to say this.

Good jobs in Nigeria are normally competitive but this shell job is on another level, it hasnt even been up to a week since the positions were opened and we are already in page 40 and with over 20 people viewing the thread at every point in time and the funny thing is that there there is high chance that they would not select more than two people for each position.

The numerical is basically elementary maths but at a high level of speed and accuracy. The verbal is a combination of basic english language (ie synonyms and antonyms) and logical reasoning (ie all cats are mammals, some mammals have four legs etc). While the abstract reasoning is diagrammatic interpretations. Hope this helps .

I don't believe Shell of all companies will hire staffs that can't spell and proofread.....

Applicants who do not satisfy the above requirements will be automatically REGRETTED.

Not sure what your talking about bro. There's nothing wrong with the statement grammatically.

Really expecting my cubiks assessment report... This will help in other areas of life, not just shell.

"Regretted" should have been replaced with "sent a regret mail". "Regretted" sounds off when used in that context, IMO.

Oh! I didn't really state if the result was mine or not but all the same, I am sure this work assessment is part of the four areas one is accessed!
1. CV
2. Numerical, Verbal and Abstract test
3. Work assessment
4. Video interview

I can't remember the page it was on. It's not like he explicitly showed it. He just proved that you can tailor your answers to what Shell wants.

They have a way of asking the same questions in different ways. All I would do is be consistent with my answers and claim what I am not to score high there. Its no rocket science.
