UN Ambassador, Stephanie Okereke spoke for the Girl Child, their right to education, decent jobs and choice of who they want to marry. She revealed all this at International Day to End Obstetric Fistula event planned by the United Nations. Stephanie Okereke made the call when she visited the Democratic Republic of Congo in commemoration of the International Day to End Obstetrical Fistula

She shared pictures from the event with the caption:

"Women should not die while giving life. Girls have rights that need to be respected-education, decent jobs, chose who to marry and when to have children and how many of them. Every woman and girl has a right to be treated with respect and dignityā€¯.
