My bro in 200L failed to defer last session. He paid fees for only the 200L 1st semester but failed to defer, although he didn't register for the any of the semesters(online and offline).
He is to resume this session.
Please are there any penalties for this?
Will he be forced to continue 300L and carryover the 200L?
Or will he have to repeat 200L since he didn't register at all?
What will have happen to the N24500 he paid?

I will really appreciate your response.

In Nigeria most universities do not take people from other universities, they have a facility that does JUPEB and uses that to fill the Direct Entry Quota.

Uniport is just new so the JUPEB facility for now is unable to fill up spaces in the DE Quota. There also appears to be an unwritten understanding that out of 13 spaces for medicine 1 or 2 will be utilized for those outside the JUPEB program but restricted to graduates of Uniport. Go and inquire of UNILAG and IBADAN or even ILORIN, you will see that they don't even look at uche face.

All that has been said above is culture, nobody will stop you from picking the JAMB DE form, its just like a Southerner going to pick PDP form when the position has been zoned to the North ~ you know how the end will be.

First of all only candidates in year 1 (100 level) who are unable to register due to ill health or financial constraints can defer the admission to next session and you can defer only once.

Students in other levels can withdraw from studies for a maximum of 2 times. Your brother paid part fee and did not complete payment and therefore did not register.

Your brother has abandoned his studies, he should contact his Faculty or and the Academic office for further advice.

If at all there is a remedy, he is going to start in level 200 again.

Bros for dat ilorin own da still do post utme for de candidates sha. Probably da don't allocate all dia spot to jupeb only. They admit based on post utme score....
Regardless how about if u re a graduate of uniport what would u say are ur chances in percentage
