The Chat

“The photo you sent,
Is appearing black or white.
So which colour are you?
Are you black or white?
How black or white are you?”.
Waiting for her long typing reply.

“Woman hold your cell phone with your hands,
Firmly,reply me,reply, it's running late”

“Is your phone running or your eyes blinking?,
Please I ain't here for too many questions.
But perhaps, I'll emit to you anoth'r”

“Do that fast,seeing is believing,
Because I'm a Nigerian”

Not quite too long I received anoth'r.
But this time was with manifold colours,
Like old photos stored in an album.
Some colours faded old and grey.

“Madam,where are you sending this photos from?,
Twitter or facebook?, definitely not instagram”

“Oh what's wrong with you men of Africa?”
Her writing then summersault to a low peak.

“Woman,I'm the one waisting the hands of the clock here,
And even cheddar too,I'm a man of high taste and value.
Why the fury?,I've not sucked your milk,
Neither have I eaten your meat.”
My temper hustling and husting,rudely and bustling,
And my cell phone was hot and angrily shut down.
