KOGI STRIKE UPDATE: We Will Resolve The Strike Issues In 24Hours - SA

Information reaching Naaija.com from KSP Lokoja has confirmed that the woman in the picture below is the SA to the Kogi stae governor Yahaya Bello on Education. She is appealing to the students to remain calm and give them 24 hours that issues concerning resumption will be resolve when students confronted her while the announcement of resumption without the staff not calling off the strike action. According to the eye witness there she shed some tears in the development. I hope is not crocodile tears

The SA Education has gone with a promised of 24 hours resolution of the logjam. Some students were reported to have told her that they will take their destinies in their hands to show their displeasure to the government for "forcing" them to resume without resolving the matter with the striking unions after the promised 24 hours.

Grace FM crew and some media houses are on ground now to take students experiences. The military have withdrawn using " tactical maneuver" techniques from the main campus.

SALARY AND PENSION PAYMENTS UPDATE:

From the Office of the Kogi State Accountant General, it has been confirmed by AG that the payment of Kogi State pensioners totaling 6,383 which include the supplementary (newly cleared) and new placement) in the sum of N1,011,850.65 (One Billion, Eleven Million, Eight Hundred and Fifty Thousand, Sixty Five Kobo) has been paid today.

Payment of Salaries of MDAs totaling 12,756 workers which include newly cleared workers, arrears, underpayments and clemency in the sum of N1.7billion is undergoing process to be paid soon
