CNN reports that More than 130 British imams and religious leaders have refused to bury those behind London’s terror attacks.
The Muslim leaders posted a statement on social media saying that they will not give the three perpetrators the privilege of receiving a traditional Islamic funeral prayer. The imam and religious leaders also condemned what they described as cold-blooded murders and dastardly cowardice. They added that terrorists do not represent Islam and urged fellow imams and religious authorities to deny them an Islamic burial. Meanwhile Britain’s most senior Muslim police commander has denounced the London attacks in a separate statement and called them terror masquerading as Islam.
