President Muhammadu Buhari has commended the Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai for ordering the arrest of leaders of the Coalition of Northern Youths, CNY, for asking Igbos to vacate the North in three months.

Buhari’s commendation was disclosed by the Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed on Wednesday.

The Minister, who took to his twitter handle, @MohammedLai wrote: “The President Buhari commends the Kaduna state government for arresting those miscreants. Jobless youths.

“The Buhari Administration vehemently condemns such a wicked plan by faceless Northern youths to evict Igbos from the North. This is their country na.”

Recall that the spokesperson of a Northern Coalition group, Coalition of Northern Youths, CNY, Abdulaziz Suleiman, had ordered Igbos to vacate the region in three months.

Idiotic commendation. If El was serious why will those guys met again today still at the same venue without any arrest?

Of course, they have told us El is playing politics with their stand and that nothing will stop them from carrying out their threat.

It is worthy of note that it is these youths that normally carry out attacks and not the leaders.

Buhari isn't the President of Nigeria, until he comes back and notifying the Senate of his return.

Lai Mohammed should be addressing that statement to Oshinbanjo.

And why are they commending Rufai for doing his work.

Leadership is no easy task. Imagine yourself as leader being faced with all these issues. You will have sleepless nights no doubt. I pity the Acting President. May he not be overwhelmed.

Very good observation. Their stupidity knows no bound. Always trying to undermine the authority of PYO.

Such an ignoramus every nairalander that dropped out school seems to be a qualified lawyer. Buhari remains president and even on vacation or medical leave. Osinbajo is simply acting in his absence or does your father cease to be your father once he travels to the village and leave your mother fully in charge? Does your boss cease to be your boss because he is on vacation? Someone of your level of ignorance I suspect can't take a single decision without consulting your boss in his absence. You obviously don't understand how government runs and always resort to yapping silly trifles time and time again.

And yes El Rufai deserves commendation seeing that many leaders of the east couldn't muster the courage to condemn a riff raff like Cownu who shouldn't speak for his family let alone represent the aspirations of an entire tribe.

Acting President should redeploy all the Service and Security Chiefs. In this Emergency, he should draw OBJ & IBB in as Consultants.
