I'm trying my best living a holy life. But it seems I'm weak. A weak christian (but devoted till the end). This is because sometimes whenever I try to meditate or think, then suddenly a kind of "sex scene" may appear on my mind as though I'm indirectly watching immoral movies so that I could get pleasures from it, I then quickly let it fade away and meditate on the way jesus died for my sins (I'm a born again christian). Could this lead me to hell even if I live a righteous life? I'm also trying to overcome temptation and immoral acts through the help of God and fasting by his grace. Please what do you think? We have read in the bible where it is written that "whosoever looks at a woman lustfully is also guilty of committing the crime of adultery/fornication"..... this implies that we are judged not just on our actions but also our thoughts too......
Now what do you think is the conclusion for your situation ?

It will pass... Some of us went true worst. Once you decide to live a holy life, you will be tempted.
There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

I will recommend fasting, which is the best way, to subdue the lust of the flesh...

well, God will help me conclude. But, what you quoted from the bible stands on it own. What I think is thatn the devil fills my mind with such things so I get tempted and go astray. Now, the main question here is, is temptation sin? I mean when you are being tempted, because I think my own case here is temptation.

seriously, I've heard a lot of people say that and that's really true, and it works but do you think temptation is sin? I just know acting on it sin.
